Since its early days Capacitar Ireland have been and continue to be involved in Capacitar outreach in Sri Lanka after the tsunami, in Peru after the earthquake, in Zambia, Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania, in Colombia and in Brazil.

Links with Trócaire also helped in securing funding for Capacitar International development in Rwanda, Burundi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, East Timor and Brazil and for a Capacitar Research and Reflection Project worldwide.
